
Neetu Bhatia

Neetu Bhatia is Co-founder, Chairman and CEO of KyaZoonga. An investment banker
turned entrepreneur, Neetu is credited with creating the professional entertainment
and sports ticketing market in India. Prior to co-founding KyaZoonga, she was a
senior media & telecom investment banker on Wall Street. Most recently, she led
Bank of Montreal’s U.S. Internet Media practice as a Director in its Media, Communications
& Technology Investment Banking Group. She has over nine years of experience originating
and executing several strategic advisory and financing transactions in these sectors.
Neetu’stransactions include over $40 billion of executed deals for Time Warner,
Google, Comcast, Cablevision, Verizon, Cingular, AT&T and others.
Prior to Bank of Montreal, Neetu worked at Lehman Brothers in New York, originating
and executing several lead-managed media and telecom advisory, capital raising and
restructuring transactions. Before joining Lehman Brothers, Neetu also worked as
a consultant with McKinsey & Company, advising senior management of Fortune 500
companies on strategic and operational issues.
Neetu has an M.S. in Management and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the Government
College of Engineering, Pune, where she graduated as the Best Outgoing Student.
A former national cricket player, Neetu serves on the Boards of several not-for-profit
organizations in New York City and India. Neetu has been quoted in publications
including The Times of India, The Economic Times, The Entrepreneur, Indiatimes,
and The Business India. Neetu has also appeared on broadcast outlets including CNBC,
NDTV, Times Now, Aaj Tak, Zee Business and several radio networks. Her story was
featured in a book to motivate young students that was released in 2005 by President,
Dr. Abdul Kalam.

Harry DeMott
|
|
Harry was raised in Douglaston, New York, quickly rising to become the 3rd best
tennis player on Manor Road despite being 23rd in the country for his age group.
(John and Patrick McEnroe were pretty tough competition.) He attended Trinity School
in New York City before majoring in Economics at Princeton University where he graduated
in 1988. He received an MBA in international finance from NYU Stern School of Business
in 1991. Harry became an equity research analyst at First Boston (now Credit Suisse)
focused on media in general and broadcasting more specifically. He was ranked by
Institutional Investor as one of the top analysts in his sector, as well as being
named a top stock picker in media by The Wall Street Journal.
In 2000, Harry started Gothic Capital Management, a long short equity hedge fund
focused on the media and consumer related sectors. It was here that Harry did
his first two private transactions acting as a founding investor in Titan Outdoor
and dMarc Broadcasting. In 2005, Harry moved to King Street Capital Management
a large distressed debt firm where he continued to cover media as well as gaming,
lodging, leisure and restaurants. During his 3 years at King Street he continued
to invest in the VC space putting money into Pandora (NYSE:P), Zing (sold to Dell),
Armada Media, Titan TV (sold to BIM), KyaZoonga and Whistlebox the latter 4 as
sole financial partner. Most recently, Harry spent time at Knighthead Capital Management
before joining Raptor in February of 2011.
Harry lives with his wife Samantha (also Princeton Class of 1988) and their 2 daughters
Megan and Fiona in New Canaan, CT. He is active in tennis, paddle tennis, golf,
and hiking and spends any other spare time he has trying to keep his 500 gallon
reef tank alive and well.

Arpita Majumder

Arpita Majumder is a Co-founder of KyaZoonga. Prior to co-founding KyaZoonga,
she was a senior management consultant with A.T. Kearney and AlixPartners where
her work contributed to significant improvements to the bottom lines of several
Fortune 10 to Fortune 500 companies across various different industries including
Consumer Goods, Automotive, Pharmaceuticals, Telecom, and Industrial Conglomerates
across various geographies including North America, Europe and South America. She
began her career designing complex fully automated CNC machine tools at Tata Motors
in Pune India, immediately after graduating in Electrical Engineering from Walchand
College of Engineering, Sangli.
Arpita holds a M.S degree in Engineering and Management from the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology and MIT’s Sloan School of Management. Arpita enjoys music, sports,
reading and traveling to historic places all over the world.

Akash Bhatia
|

Akash Bhatia is a Co-Founder of KyaZoonga. A software engineer turned entrepreneur,
Akash conceived the original idea of KyaZoonga during one of his visits back home
to India. Prior to co-founding KyaZoonga, he was a senior software engineer in Silicon
Valley. Most recently, Akash led the development of one of Oracle’s next generation
Fusion Enterprise Applications, and also invented a patent-pending interface for
Oracle Applications.He has over seven years of experience in all aspects of software
development with Oracle and PeopleSoft.
Akash has an M.B.A. from MIT Sloan, an M.S in Transportation Engineering from the University of Cincinnati
and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the Government College of
Engineering, Pune. Akash is also a movie buff, an amateur movie maker, loves water
sports and is an avid windsurfer.
