Who we are looking for

We are a young, motivated, dynamic team. The four co-founders of the company are ex bankers, management consultants, and Silicon Valley professionals with several years in media and entertainment, technology and business in the United States. We are backed by a $10 billion hedge fund based in New York.

We are looking to hire self-driven, motivated individuals. We strongly believe in quality however and we only hire when we find the right talent and fit. We are not looking for people who will come in and do a job. We are looking for individuals who are willing to take on challenges, and be an integral part of our organization. Software Developer

  • BE/BTech/MSc in Computers/Computer Science/Electronics & Telecom or Equivalent.
  • 1-2 years experience in Microsoft web development technologies.
  • MUST have worked on a web/content development platform.
  • MUST have some experience in ecommerce transaction based development aspects.

Other Skills:

Data Base Analyst

Responsibilities:
  • Database administration including troubleshooting, database recovery, and database admin using SQL.
  • Designing database structures and writing database objects in SQL Server 2000 i.e. Complex Stored Procedures, Indexes, Triggers, Views, and Functions etc.
  • Database performance tuning and optimization of queries.
  • Backing up and restoration of database.
  • Troubleshooting using SQL Profiler.
  • Database performance tuning and optimization of queries.
  • Development of reports using SQL Server stored procedures.
  • Setting database access controls for the development team.

Qualifications:
  • 2-6 years of MS-SQL server administration experience.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science.
  • Experience in replicating technology including mirroring, archiving and indexing data.
  • Proficient in navigating and utilizing windows, IIS environment and Framework.
  • Knowledge of Dot Net Framework and asp scripts.
  • Knowledge of Exchange Server and administration.
  • Proficient in web Server operations.
  • Oracle administration experience is a plus.
  • Experience in E-commerce website is desirable.

QA Engineer

Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual testing.
  • Build tools and create test scripts.
  • Test development and automation.
  • Creating Test plans and test cases.
  • Performing root cause analysis to identify problems in design and/or implementation.
  • Ability to define and manage QA projects.
  • Evaluate test coverage.

Requirements:
  • Solid 7+ years of outstanding track record as a developer and/or UI Automation QA engineer.
  • Active team participant with strong technical and personal leadership skills.
  • Competent in developing QA automation framework and tools (eg. Quicktest).
  • Fluent in ASP.Net and scripting languages (eg., Javascript, PHP, Perl).
  • Competent in Unix operating system.
  • Experience in load and performance testing of web applications (eg. JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Experience in AJAX, HTML and XML.
  • Expert in QA methodologies, procedures & documentation.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Customer-focused, ability to triage issues, react well to changes, work independently or with teams and being able to multi-task on multiple products and projects.
  • Self-starter, team player, highly organized, infrastructure and process-oriented.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.

 
Sr. Manager – Technology

Responsibilities:
  • Provide critical input into the engineering discipline’s vision and strategy, while initiating, promoting, and implementing engineering best practices.
  • Provide technical and career leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development.
  • Provide technical and leadership to drive designs and implementations in order to meet quality, performance, scale, and manageability requirements.
  • Work with development team leads to plan and execute projects, ensure that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver projects effectively.
  • Demonstrate capability of "rolling-up sleeves and getting hands dirty."
  • Ability to read and modify code.
  • Demonstrate a breadth and depth of understanding system integration and cost/time impact.
  • Being able to excel in idea generation, evaluation, and prioritization.
  • Effectively navigating a functionalized organization, which includes Research & Development, Product Management, Implementations, Client Care, and Finance.

Qualifications:
  • A strong technical and management background, including 10+ years of software development experience and 5+ years of managing a product development team from product inception to ship.
  • A proven track record of leading large (35-50 people), geographically diverse development teams.
  • Demonstrated experience and success in building high-performing software development teams.
  • Deep experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, C#, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle development, server applications and web and/or network protocols.
  • Several years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • A strong and diverse software development process background, including but not limited to, Agile and CMMI methodologies.
  • Experience in imbedding quality throughout the development lifecycle, using such techniques as Test Driven Development.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing, communicating, and measuring adherence to development best practices.
  • Willingness and ability to actively drive the resolution of software and technical issues as part of maintaining and upgrading the skills necessary to manage and advocate projects.
  • Proactive work style that is essential to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for cutting-edge technologies and creative problem-solving of complex and large-scale software problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interaction with peers, including Product Management and Operations.
  • Ability to influence decision-making and to provide your counsel to, and leadership of, multiple project teams.
  • Excellent service skills (timeliness of delivery and quality).
  • Experience in developing and maintaining key metrics (i.e. quality, productivity, financial, etc.) to measure and monitor performance.
  • MS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
  • MUST have very strong experience of atleast 5 years in ecommerce development.
  • MUST have atleast 4-5 years solid experience in the complete suite of Microsoft web development technologies.
  • Total experience of 7-10 years in software development.
  • Very strong Team management experience.
  • Excellent communications skills and pleasant personality.

 
Business Development

This role involves growing the company through increasing market penetration and new customer/client acquisition.

Responsibilities:
  • Generating annual growth target objectives in support of business plan.
  • Developing and maintaining assigned client relationships.
  • Recruiting new clients to generate new business opportunities.
  • Develop and conduct client presentations to attract new business and support overall corporate positioning.
  • Research and develop sales and marketing plans, including overall strategic and tactical directives.
  • Negotiate and maintain contracts.
  • Coordinate and integrate sales efforts with internal operations in all disciplines.
  • Support marketing activities and closely work with product management to help develop new ideas that can be taken to clients.
  • Developing relevant business proposals.
  • Monitor market Intelligence within the industry in terms of market development, new projects, competitive activity, new customers etc.
  • Handling meeting with key clients.
  • Follow up on sales activities.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries as well as generate leads.

Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to handle large customers and partner relationships, and drive groups to collective business decisions.
  • Proven track record negotiating & closing medium to large sized deals.
  • Advanced analysis, planning and modeling skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and forecasting.

 
Preferable Job Qualifications
  • Experience in backend server and/or system level programming is a strong plus.
  • Experience in Web Monitoring, Profiling, tools is a plus.
  • Experience in Web Application Security testing is a plus.
  • Experience in QA Lead/Project Management skills is a plus.
  • Experience working with remote development and QA teams.
